May I recommend a clock? There’s a beautiful (but presumably non-working) clock on the old Chicago Defender building at 24th and Michigan. My bus (the 3) took a detour today, and it was right there in front of me. The hours are marked with cobalt blue tile, and the whole clock is in a white-brick box.
The 4 goes right by it from downtown.
