So I bought this book called "First Editions of Dr. Seuss Books: A Guide to Identification" so that I could determine if the books I bought over at Powell’s Books in 2000 were what I thought they were.

They basically were– the "Cat in the Hat" is a First Edition, Third Printing (the 195/195 on the inside flap).

My "The Cat in the Hat Comes Back" is a true, actual First Edition.

The "Hop on Pop" was a first edition of the Grolier Book Club– kinda no big deal, but I like it.
