I love signs. They tell you more than what they think they tell you.

This award, in a 12-story hospital, was only given twice, and the 8th Floor won both times (I, in fact, checked every other floor). Not awarded in 26 years.

A highly motivated/ mad-decorating nurse who moved on to scrapbooking or some other hospital in Phoenix? A hospital administrator who tried to improve morale after Reagan’s election and was fired after The Day After? An appreciative former patient who ran an engraving shop?

Dunno.
