NYC Weekend Bridge & Street Closings > July 4 - 10, 2009

Manhattan
Hudson River: 12th Avenue (9A) between 23rd and 59th Street;
Viewing Access: 24th, 26th-30th, 33rd, 34th, 40-44, 47th-52nd and 54th to 57th Streets between 11th and 12th Avenues:

The above locations will be closed from 4pm July 4th until 1am July 5th for the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Celebration as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

West 39th Street between Broadway and 6th Avenue: This street will be closed overnight Friday from 12:01am to 6am to facilitate crane operation.

Greene Street between Canal Street and Grand Street: This street will be closed Sunday from 8am to 4pm to facilitate crane operation.

Grand Street between Thompson Avenue and 6th Avenue: This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday from 9am to 7pm to facilitate crane operation.

Washington Place between Mercer Street and Greene Street: This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday from 8am to 4pm to facilitate crane operation.

Mulberry Street between Canal and Broome Streets; Hester Street between Mott and Mulberry Streets: This street will be closed Friday through Sunday until September 1st, 2009 from 11am to 6pm for the Mulberry Street Pedestrian Mall as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Stone Street between Coenties Alley and Williams Street: This street will be closed Monday April 27th through November 30th from 11am to 6pm for the Stone Street Pedestrian Mall as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Water Street between Fulton Street and Broad Street: This street will be closed Saturday from 11am to 6pm for the Pearl Street Park Association 4th of July Festival as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

6th Avenue between West 14th Street and West 23rd Street: This street will be closed Saturday from 11am to 6pm for the McBurney YMCA Festival as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit

6th Avenue between West 42nd Street and West 56th Street: This street will be closed Sunday from 11am to 6pm for the USO Street Fair as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Stone Street between Hanover Square and Coenties Alley: This street will be closed Saturday from 11am to 6pm for the Stone Street 4th of July Celebration as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Lexington Avenue between East 34th Street and East 42nd Street: This street will be closed Sunday from 11am to 6pm for the Israeli Civil Rights Lexington Avenue Street Fair as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Brooklyn
Bedford Avenue between North 4th Avenue and North 9th Street: This street will be closed Saturday July 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 11am to 10pm for the Williamsburg Walks as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Queens
Myrtle Avenue between Wyckoff Avenue and Fresh Pond Road: This street will be closed Thursday through Saturday from 11am to 6pm for the Myrtle Avenue 4th of July Sidewalk Sale as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Staten Island
Formation: Showplace Center (Victory Boulevard at West Shore East Service Roadway)
Route: West on Victory Boulevard to Glen Street; Glen Street to Cannon Avenue; Cannon Avenue to Victory Boulevard; Victory Boulevard to 141 East Service Road @ West Shore Expressway The above streets will be close Saturday from 12:30pm to 3pm for the Travis 4th of July Parade as permitted by NYPD. Also the northbound Victory Boulevard exit from the West Shore Expressway will be closed. Manhattan
