How to Look Up Federal Government Spending on Technology

There are a number of ways to research technology spending by the federal government:

Federal Procurement Data System – Next Generation: this is good for looking at the total amount of contract awards.

USA Spending: this is good for looking up actual revenue flows— amounts actually earned. Functions sort of like a check ledger.

CALC: Contract Awarded Labor Category Tool: this is good for looking up rates that contractors charge for particular types of work as organized by labor categories. The underlying data comes from GSA IDIQ service schedules like Schedule 70.
