I was driving by Clark & Lawrence last night after having some soup over at Tank Restaurant. I saw that they were building condos or something where Rainbo Roller Rink used to be. I used to skate there when I was in 8th grade in Uptown. Couples skating. Sweat hands. Disco. 1980.
I remembered that I went there a few years ago on the last day it was open and took some pictures. I found them and put them up over on Flickr. Very ornate plaster cornices and other stuff.
