The Cranes of New York: One Weekend of Crane Operations in the Big City

By dint of my profession, I get a lot of email from municipalities about this or that. One of my favorites is the “Weekend Bridge and Street Closures” email that I get the New York City Department of Transportation every Friday afternoon.

No matter where I’m at– humping it at the work, day off in nature, or whatever, I can count on the City of New York telling me dozens of things I really don’t need to know, but still like to receive.
